2 Days Down…

Do you want to know an easy way to make sure you get your morning workout in?

8 Hours of Sleep.

For me, it’s really that simple. Getting out of bed has never been so easy when I am strict about bed time.

Monday’s class was pretty low key. I don’t think I even broke a sweat, but it perfect for a recovery day after my 10.5 Mile run on Sunday.

Looks like my outfit was also pretty low key. Black Pants, Zara. Striped Shirt, Mr. Price. Black Vest, Ralph Lauren.

I ate lunch in the car while running an errand with Lennie. I don’t have a photo, but I will give you a behind the scenes look at breakfast and lunch prep. I put this together on Sunday night for minimal effort during the week.

Fast forward to today. Look who applied too much self-tanner to their forehead, but still managed to make it to their morning workout.

Class was great, but I could not find the instructor after the class to sign my internship log. I snapped a photo so I could show him next time and get my signature.

He can try to hide, but I will find him…

I picked up a very important package (Thank you Aerin!) and went to work.

What I wore: Black Pants, AG Jeans. Leopard Long Sleeve, Karen Kane/purchased at Nordstroms. Belt, Hermes. Black Cashmere Cardigan, Ralph Lauren.

I always feel like a tool when I wear animal prints in Africa, like I am trying to dress up.

Irrational fear? Yes.

Lunch was a  BIG salad with ostrich mince that I cooked with taco seasonings and smoked paprika. I topped it with creamed cottage cheese and a homemade dressing. I love the sprouts!

Yes, ostrich meat. It tastes like beef, but very lean since its a game meat. When in Africa…..

So far, so good with sticking to my plan for classes this week!

How Much Sleep do you Need?

7-8 hours and I’m golden. One the weekends I indulge in a bit more.
